How do I Believe in Myself?

How do I Believe in Myself? =+=+=+=+=+= For this task, we have to share how we believe in ourselves. We were told about a Peanuts comic strip about Linus believing in the Great Pumpkin, Linus had a strong belief. We had to share how we believe in ourselves. This was a seesaw task.
=+=+=+=+=+= For me to believe in myself I become optimistic and have confidence in myself having that attitude strengthens my beliefs, it gives me a reason to get to my goal and to strive to do my best. Sometimes my beliefs can be unreachable in a way, this confuses and puzzles me this causes stress to come upon me with procrastination, stress is needed though due to stress is a type of motivation but it becomes unbalanced when confused or not clearly thinking. Though if it is reachable it gives me a clear vision being able to see how to get to my goal in a positive way. I find positivity the best way of strengthening self-belief, positivity balances stress levels to keep them tame so it doesn't cause negative side effects, due to positivity being so uplifting you have more of an optimistic attitude towards things and is self-encouragement to strive to do things. Therefore this is how I believe in myself.

What makes a good Mathematician?

What makes a good Mathematician?
On our class seesaw, we were given tasks to do.
There was a task to think of what it truly means to be a
good mathematician. After we had thought of what makes
a good mathematician, we used a blank template
brainstorming sheet made by our teacher where we put our
ideas. Here are my ideas:

Should Matariki be a Public Holiday?

In class we had a task to write a persuasive piece on "Should Matariki be a Public Holiday?" We could be for/against the topic.
I went for this topic. We had to express our thoughts effectively so we could persuade the reader, we used our prior knowledge and research.

Should Matariki be a Public Holiday?
Matariki, this time is a very important time for the Maori
community, so should Matariki be a public holiday?
Absolutely if it was a public holiday, there would be
time to do the traditional celebration for people who
like to do the traditional Matariki celebration
but don’t have the time, like gathering with
whanau and reflection and learning about the celebration.

During Matariki many families gather to celebrate Matariki but since
Matariki is not a public holiday, its harder to find the time
to gather. People are busy with school and work but if
Matariki was a public holiday it would be so much easier.
With whanau we have feasts, share time with each other
and have performances such as singing, dancing and
music, on Matariki was a public holiday.

Also Matariki is a time of reflection and
learning during Matariki we think about how we can
improve ourselves and reflect on our past. Matariki is a
time for Maori to share stories and their culture.
The Matariki star cluster is a connection to provide an opportunity
to remember their whakapapa and their ancestors
who have passed away.

Matariki is a really important time for Maori, it has
a lot of preparation, we need a public holiday so
families can actually gather and celebrate together, and we
can learn, reflect and improve ourselves to find connections,
and this is why Matariki SHOULD be a public holiday.

How Old Is Disney Land?

W.A.L.T: Read the text and summerise it.  Remember the key to a good summary.
It has to have a title, and interesting and new facts .

What is Disney?

Disney land is a place where you can interact with your favorite Disney characters, eat food and go on fun rides. Disney was originally made and named after Walt Disney. He wasn't originally a theme park designer. He started his career as a commercial artist. He started a small studio in Los Angeles, California, to make animated cartoons. In 1928 he released his first short film, Steam Boat Willie. Once he introduced the world Mickey Mouse it became a huge success.

How did Disney land become thought of?

In the 1950's, Walt Disney started dreaming of an amusement experience. It was inspired by the children's letters that he received talking about how much they wanted to meet Mickey Mouse. He started planning a theme park unlike anything that had been seen before. Disney land finally opened to the public on July 17 , 1955. It featured 18 attractions, Main street USA, Frontierland, Adventure land, Fantasy land, and Tomorrow land.

In conclusions Disney has been around since 1955.

Jacob The Great ( Sequel )

        Jacob the Great  (Sequel)
In class, we had to write a sequel paragraph for our stop here are the first and last sentences for some hints:

First: Jacob hated finishing things almost as much as he loved starting them.

Last: Now he knew the true purpose of life.

       πŸ€‘Jacob the Great  (Sequel)πŸ€‘
Jacob knew that his mum would refuse at first so before he asked again he tried walking dogs for money but that did not end well. After a lot of begging dad recommended paying half the money ($97.50) and he had to figure out the rest. Jacob agreed and he made a list of things he could do like mowing lawns, raking leaves, and many other boring chores.
Finally, it was time for space camp but after raising all that money for 10 weeks he lost interest and bought a Tablet instead. Will he ever finish something?
